Custom vegan stilettos from Shoes of Prey
Let’s face it. There are fantastic vegan shoe companies out there. And many designers, such as NineWest, are starting to make synthetic options. But it’s just a fact of life that non-vegans have quite a few more options available to them. Or they did. Until now.
Shoes of Prey is an award-winning global retail store that allows customers to design their own shoes online. They are transforming the way we shop for shoes.
Design your own custom vegan stilettos
The store allows you to choose from a wide variety of shoe shapes, including flats, heels, wedges, sandals, boots and more – but then also permits you to customize the heel and toe shape, as well as the materials, colours (yes, you can make the heel and upper different colours, change the lining colour, etc.). They come in sizes 2-15 US (31-49 EU), and every width from Narrow to Extra Wide.
I contacted the company yesterday to confirm that, in addition to the vegan leather, the textile, lace, satin and cotton blend materials are vegan as well. So you have quite a few options for creating custom vegan shoes!
The 3D designer is very easy to use, allowing you to see your choices of upper, liner, etc. in real-time. You can also easily rotate the shoes so you can take a look at your shoes from every angle before they ship. Shoes are ready within four weeks, and they have a 365 day return/remake policy (try getting that anywhere else).
One of the things that I really appreciate about this company is that you can rest assured that your vegan shoes contain absolutely no animal components. Everything down to the glue is vegan, and that’s pretty hard to ensure with other brands. Also, if you are a new vegan that struggling to find access to all the latest styles, this is going to make buying vegan shoes a lot more pleasant, and with prices around $159 USD, they are pretty affordable for anyone pining after Jimmy Choos.

And finally, I’d like to give a shout out to my husband, who ran across this company while looking for vegan men’s dress shoes. It’s a shame that Shoes of Prey doesn’t make mens shoes yet!
