Easy BBQ Cauliflower Wings: Recipe

I’ve been wanting to make bbq cauliflower wings since going vegan. It’s definitely taken me a while to do this, but better late than never!

I order these wings frequently when I’m at vegan restaurants, but I think I always assumed that it was fairly complicated. Not so.

In fact, making them at home is a relatively quick and easy task, and they are a bit healthier than what you’ll find at most restaurants. This recipe contains no added fat, and can easily be made gluten-free with the use of almond or coconut flour in place of the wheat flour.

These wings are light and easy to make. I didn’t bother going through a two-step batter process, simply because I’m lazy. But you could certainly use a flax egg/soy milk base and then dip the wings into Panko crumbs. I might try that in the future! Still, I will warn you that these are pretty addictive. I probably ate a third of these by myself on Wednesday afternoon, and it took every ounce of willpower to save some for my kids!

  7. After 15 minutes, remove “wings” from oven, and drizzle evenly with bbq sauce.
